“In my pursuit of new creative endeavors, I am excited to explore any and every opportunity within the performing arts. As a recent graduate, I am looking for a chance to participate in the industry in all aspects. From attending shows to creating shows, I am extremely excited to explore my desired career field in a multitude of ways. As a progressive professional with leadership experience and a true passion for the arts, I believe that I can bring valuable contributions to a creative team.

     My primary goal within the arts is to create awareness, access, and opportunity specifically for BIPOC artists. I plan to achieve that by prioritizing the representation of BIPOC art and artist, as well as advocating for those within the industry. Art of all forms can provide not only entertainment but inspiration and impact within society. By reaching out to those within our communities, I believe the theatre industry can be a more inclusive and representative industry.

     Identifying innovative approaches and improved solutions to challenges both motivate and drive me. Observation, inspiration, and determination are my foundation for success. My philosophy is that introducing fresh perspectives and new techniques allows art to evolve and grow. I have recently received my bachelor's degrees, in both Theatre- Directing and Mass Media Communications. My goal with my degrees is to use art as an outlet to strengthen the community and create access to opportunity and education for those who otherwise might not have it. My interests are in directing, teaching, and technical theatre, but I truly have a strong desire to work on all sides of production.

    In my recent career and academic roles, my successes have stemmed from essential skills, including interpersonal communication and complex problem-solving. I have had the chance to work as a student director and a general theatre technician. Through those opportunities, I have enhanced my critical thinking abilities and cultivated a reputation as a major contributor through organizational skills and adaptability. I am a collaborative team player who is always searching for opportunities to learn and develop new skills within the performing arts. With these qualities, I am able to facilitate positive change and impactful outcomes.
